Dr. Hailey Templar

Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Dr. Hailey Templar has always had a strong interest in both medicine and animals.

She moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Integrative Animal Biology.

After initially pursuing human medicine and becoming EMT certified, she realized her passion was in veterinary medicine, where she could combine her medical interests with her love for animals.

Before veterinary school, Dr. Templar worked as a veterinary assistant in an overnight emergency hospital, where she developed a strong interest in emergency and critical care.

She also completed a zoo internship at ZooTampa, where she worked with avian species.

She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George’s University and completed her clinical training at North Carolina State University in Raleigh.

Dr. Templar’s professional interests include emergency and critical care and internal medicine.

She values the human animal bond and enjoys helping pet owners navigate stressful situations with clear communication and compassion.

Outside of work, she enjoys pickleball, golf, and is a foodie who loves trying new restaurants.

She is a proud cat lady and is dedicated to providing thoughtful, compassionate care to her patients and their families.
